Caffee is Sanford Vermillion 2007 PRIDE employee for March
Vance Caffee, health information clerk and nurse assistant, was selected as the Sanford Vermillion Medical Center (SVMC) March 2007 PRIDE Employee of the Month.

Caffee has been employed at Sanford Vermillion Medical Center since November 2005.

"Vance is versatile in his positions – when health information clerk he helps the aides and when an aide, he helps health information. Vance has a completely positive attitude and is willing to go above and beyond. He is very self directed, it's as if he can anticipate what you want or need. Vance smiles with even the dirtiest jobs and is fun to work with. He takes very good care of the patients. Vance takes his work seriously while maintaining a relaxing and enjoyable work environment. His desire to be a nurse makes him that much more important to the Sanford Vermillion Hospital staff."

These comments were shared in nominations for Caffee.

"Vance does an excellent job as a HIM/NA here at SVMC. I have patients that ask when Vance is working next because they love having him care for them," comments Robin Huether, director of nursing, Sanford Hospital Vermillion.

Vance is a full-time student at The University of South Dakota studying nursing and music with plans to graduate May 2009. Caffee is a native of Miller.
