The bluegrass band Clay County Breakdown returns to Gayville for a concert at 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, at Gayville Hall. John and Susan McNeill will open the show.
Clay County Breakdown was formed in 2005. It is led by Sioux Falls banjo player Daniel Kilbride, a 1973 Wakonda High School graduate who was born and raised on a farm south of Wakonda.
Other members of the group are USD students Ben and Lindsey Clark of Vermillion on guitar and mandolin and Sam and Dalton Coffey of Sioux Falls on upright bass and dobro.
Gayville Hall, an alcohol- and smoke-free venue, is at 502 Washington St. in Gayville. Admission is $10 at the door or $12.50 for reserved seating. Call 605-267-2859.
