The veteran band from rural Wakonda, founded more than two decades ago, is known for its virtuosity and repertoire of western swing, country, blues, and pop.
George sang with the band in the late 1980s before heading to Nashville and has reunited with the band several times since 2003 at Gayville Hall concerts.
Nick Schwebach, one of the band's co-founders, sings and plays lead and steel guitars. Owen DeJong, who spins classical music on public radio and holds a master's degree in violin performance, plays the fiddle. Larry Rohrer sings and plays bass.
