St. Cloud State defeats South Dakota Women's Tennis Team, 7-2
The South Dakota Women's Tennis Team dropped a 7-2 decision to St. Cloud State in North Central Conference action on Saturday morning at the USD tennis courts on the USD campus. The Coyotes fell to 1-3 in the NCC and now sit 16-7 overall. St. Cloud State improved to 17-9 and 2-4 in NCC action.

The Coyotes were led by Amanda Nicol, a junior from East London, South Africa, who won at #1 singles with a 7-6 (7-1), 6-2 win over SCSU's Kimberly Lindblom. With the win, Nicol improved to 14-4 on the season. The other Coyotes' win was by the #1 doubles squad of Nicol and Maggie Peters of Des Moines, IA, who upped their record to 11-4. Nicol and Peters recorded an 8-4 win over Lindblom and Kelley Severson of the Huskies.

#6 – Kristie Eull, SCSU, over Michelle Hogan (12-4, senior, Rapid City), USD, 7-5, 7-6 (7-3).
