Tanager boys’ and girls’ track teams attend Dan Lennon Invitational

The Tanager boys' and girls' varsity teams were entered against several area school in the Dan Lennon Invitational Monday, March 26, held at the DakotaDome in Vermillion. There were a multitude of participating teams and individuals in attendance. No team points were kept.

Individual VHS varsity boys' results for the events, in the order they were reported, are as follows:

High Jump – Bobby Dysktra, 6'4'', second.

Relays: 4X400M – sixth (Dalton Brandt, Broc Gauer, Jerrod Freidel, and Ryan Powell).

Medley Relay – seventh (Greg Anderson, Dan Storm, Ryan Powell, and Broc Gauer).

The girls' division results follow:

Varsity dashes – Alicia Brown won the 400M with time of 60.74.

In the varsity relays: The team (Hannah Korkuska, Alexa Walker, Annie Roche, and Alicia Brown) placed fifth in the 4X200M; and the same team (Korkuska, Walker, Roche, and Brown) finished seventh in the 4X400M.
