Tanager girls golf team places 5th of 17 at Madison

There were 17 Class A schools entered at the 2007 Madison Girls' Golf Invitational held at Madison Country Club Golf Course on Thursday, April 19.

Lead/Deadwood won the meet with a 345 score; West Central (381); Aberdeen Roncall (412); Dell Rapids (413); and Vermillion (413) made up the top five.

Dani Bellet (L/D) was medalist with a 80 score. Tanagers with scores in the top 15 golfers were: Anna Isaacson – 9th (91); and Chelsea Gauer – 13th (97). Other Vermillion participants were: Kelsey Osborne – 111; Rachel Odens-114; Laura Hansen (114); and Kristen Schwaisinger – 115.
