Trojans too much for VHS in dual match

The Tanager girls' golf team lost their dual match last Tuesday, April 17 vs West Central, played at The Bluffs Golf course in Vermillion.

The temperature had cooled down to the 60s with a slight northerly wind for the planned 18-hole competition.

The Lady Trojans won with a 360 score, while the Lady Tanagers finished with 372.

West Central individual scores: Cora Leisinger – 85; Kelli Lowry – 85; Laura Leisinger – 92;. and Sara Puthoff – 98.

Capturing medalist honors was Tanager's Anna Isaacson with a 82. Other Vermillion scores, to determine team total: Chelsea Gauer – 89; Kelsey Osborne – 100; and Laura Hansen – 101.

There were no JV team scores determined, but indivdual Tanager scorers were. Kristen Schwsinger – 104; Rachel Odens – 108; Kenzie Huska-123; Ellen Brown – 125; Jessica Martensen – 128; and Lindsey Robinet – 137.
