USD hosts tourney

The University of South Dakota hosted the 23rd annual South Dakota Science Olympiad State Tournament on Saturday, March 31.

Over 200 middle school and high school students representing schools throughout the state of South Dakota competed.

The winners for division B include: first place, Yankton Middle School; second place, Sacred Heart Middle School; and third place, Vermillion Middle School.

Winners in division C include: first place, Yankton High School; second place, Spearfish High School, and third place, Mitchell High School.
