Post Office food drive is May 12

Vermillion residents are reminded that the Annual National Association of Letter Carriers' Food Drive is Saturday, May 12. On this day, in more than 10,000 towns and cities across America, postal employees will gather donated, non-perishable food from citizens as they deliver mail.

Please leave non-breakable containers, such as boxes or cans, of food next to your mailbox before your regular mail delivery time on May 12.

The food items will be sorted at the post office and, in Vermillion, taken to the Food Pantry located in Trinity Lutheran Church.
