The W. H. Over Museum will present an exhibit on 20th-century aprons. The core of this exhibit is from Donna Koerting's collection of half aprons. Come and help us celebrate our mothers, grandmothers and our own past as we explore the history of aprons, their infinite variety, craftsmanship of homemade aprons in addition to home, motherhood and housewifery.
Mrs. Koerting is from Norfollk, NE and will be at the May 19 Tea'n Talk to share with us how her collection came to be. The Tea'n Talk starts at 2 p.m. in Sletwold Hall. There will be a slight charge ($5.00 per person) to defray the costs of the tea (FOM members at a reduced price). Reserve a spot by May 17.
