The market will run from mid-May to mid-October with local vendors selling fresh produce, some homemade foods, crafts and other assorted local goods.
The market will be hosting special events throughout the summer, including a "Kids Cook" day, a lecture on "Your Edible Yard," a pirate party, and a harvest dinner in the fall – just to name a few of the different events.

The market continues to look for more vendors, and inquiries can be directed to the market manager, Caitlin Collier, at 624-8060.
On May 16, the Vermillion Community Garden project will also be celebrating the beginning of gardening season with live music, seed giveaways, craft projects and more!
Sponsored by the Vermillion Area Arts Council, the new Vermillion Community Garden offers people the opportunity to lease a garden plot for the season to grow their own vegetables, flowers, or both. Both individuals and organizations have already signed up for plots, but there are still plots available.
Please come join in the festivities at the Washington Street Arts Center at 202 Washington St. from 4-7 p.m. to learn more about locally grown food while having fun!
