VHS girls’ golf dominate Orioles

The Tanager girls' golfers outpointed the Lennox Orioles 176-274, in the dual held at The Bluffs Golf Course on Monday, April 23.

For Lennox: Brittany Sweptei – 62; Larissa Abbas – 65; Alvina Meyer – 69; and Jamie Jondl – 78.

Anna Isaacson (VHS) was medalist with a 39 score. Other Tanager scorers were: Kelsey Osborne – 44; Chelsea Gauer – 46; Rachel Odens – 48; and Laura Hansen – 54.

The Tanager JV team also blanked Lennox 221-330.

Krista Kuiper led the team with a 50 score. Also sharing in the win were: Ellen Brown (52); Kennzie Huska (53); and Krista Schwasinger (56). Other players with significant scores were: Clare Jones and Emily VanDenHul (60 each); and Lindsey Robinet and Jessica

Mortensen (65 each). Also competing on the JV team were: Olivia VanDenHul, Bailey Carlson, and Sara Bye.
