Carlson receives All-American honors

Anne Carlson, representing the University of Central Missouri, received All American honors by placing seventh in the heptathlon at the 2007 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field National Championship in Charlotte, NC The heptathlon consists of the 100-meter hurdles, high jump, shot put, 200-meter run on day one and the long jump, javelin and 800-meter run on the second day, with points awarded based on time or distance.

Anne was also named to the Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletic Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.
