Exchanged vows

Allison Knutson and Robert Walsh were married March 10, 2007 at the St. Thomas More Newman Center with Fr. Joe Forcelle officiating. Parents of the couple are Richard and Virginia Knutson of Vermillion, and Patrick and Cheryl Walsh of Elk Point.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Vermillion High School, and a 2004 graduate of the University of Minnesota, Morris. The groom graduated in 1999 from Elk Point High School and in 2004 from The University of South Dakota. The bride is a research associate at the Sanford School of Medicine at USD, and the groom farms near Elk Point.

Jennifer L. Knutson, Vermillion, and Jennifer N. Knutson, Kansas City, KS, were matrons of honor. Best men were Alan Gray of Wichita, KS, and Chris Wurtz of Forest Lake, MN. Bridesmaids were Susan Radel, Lennox; Codi Ellingson, Enid, OK; Karyl Biegler, Sturgis; and Mary Matherly, Gilbert, AZ.

Groomsmen were Richie Knutson, Vermillion; Andrew Knutson, Iowa City, IA; Ryan Knutson, Kansas City, KS; and Matthew Knutson, Vermillion.

The flower girl was Sophia Walsh, cousin of the groom. Ring bearers were Wyatt Knutson, nephew of the bride, and Michael Potter, cousin of the bride.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at St. Agnes School Gymnasium. After a Hawaiian Islands honeymoon, the Walshes reside in Vermillion.
