Registration will be held at the former National Guard Armory located on Elk Point's Main Street (Exit 18 off I-29) starting at 7:30 a.m.
A SAG wagon and refreshments will be provided during the ride. This will be BF-LF's 10th year of hosting this event to raise funds for its youth mentoring program. Runners and walkers will start at 8:45 a.m. with the bike ride starting at 9 a.m. The bike routes are of varying lengths (8-14-25-42 & 55+ miles) and are on blacktop.

The Lewis and Clark Heritage Days Festival will also be taking place in Elk Point, and participants in the BF-LF event are welcome to join in the food, fun and entertainment at the city park. Lunch and T-shirt options are available. This year, lunch will be served at the Legion, located one block from the registration area. The Elk Point Lions Club will be serving a pancake, sausage and coffee breakfast from 7 to 11:30 a.m., just 50 yards from the registration area, for a small fee.
