The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Staff Sgt. Robb L. Rolfing, 29, of Sioux Falls, died Saturday, June 30, in Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds sustained from enemy small arms fire. He was assigned as a Special Forces engineer to Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion, 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne), Fort Carson, CO.
