- Great Day of Play – Wednesday, Aug. 15, from 1 to 4:45 p.m. and 6 to 8:45 p.m. at Prentis Park swimming pool. The Vermillion Recreation Department will be offering FREE admission.

- Dakota PC Warehouse Customer Grand Opening – Saturday, Aug. 18 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. They will be running specials all day including 10 percent off all desktop and laptop computers, 10 percent off all USB 2.0 thumb-drives, $99 Sony 6.0 megapixel camera, and $2.99 software.
