New business opens doors

Dakota PC Warehouse was formally introduced to the Vermillion community with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held Thursday, Aug. 9. The business, located at 1216 E. Cherry Street, will hold a customer grand opening from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 18. Specials will be offered all day, including 10 percent off all desktop and laptop computers, 10 percent off all USB 2.0 thumb-drives, digital cameras starting at $99, and $2.99 software. A drawing to win a Sony 6-megapixel camera will be held at 5 p.m. All sales are limited to stock on hand. (Photo by David Lias)
