Tanager golfers top Beresford 303-359

On Aug. 21, the Tanager golf team continued its winning ways as they topped Beresford by 56 points in a dual contested at The Bluffs in Vermillion, 303-359.

Vermillion's Alex Schaack was medalist with a 70 score. The other Tanager scorers were Broc Gauer – 76; Jordan Boots – 77; Aaron Steele – 80; and Mikal Ustad – 90.

Beresford's scorers were Mike Quall – 82; Jonathon Treibe – 91; Tony Jensen – 92; Justin Norling – 94; and Brady VanBuskirk – 97.

In the JV division, Vermillion won 185-214. Cole Andre was medalist with a 38. Other top scorers were Eric Ustad – 41; Patrick Haught – 52; and Owen Korkuska – 54. Also in the competition from Vermillion were Mitchell Nelson, Zach McDonald, Jaron Sorensen, Tyler Osborne, and Christian Janos.

For the Beresford JV, Mike Jensen and Taylor Jensen – 51 each; Conner Buum – 55; and Jason Straud – 57.
