Tanagers girls’ soccer team fall to St. Thomas Moore 8-1

The Vermilion Tanagers girls' varsity soccer team opened the 2007 season with a loss to St. Thomas Moore. "I have implemented a new formation for the girls to learn, so it will take time for the girls to adapt," said head coach Dave LaCombe.

"We played them very tough in the first half with a score of 3-1. The lone goal came from Margaret Mueller.

"St. Thomas Moore finished second in state last year and they were very good against us. Tasha Donnelly started in goal and had five saves, and Jenna Peterson finished as goalie and had two saves.
