BF-LF offers day of movies, games

Big Friend-Little Friend, Inc. (BF-LF) of Clay and Union counties invites youths, ages 5-13 in Clay and Union counties and interested mentors to a free event.

On Saturday, Oct. 6, two free movies, games, and food will be provided. The event will be held at the Vermillion National Guard Armory.

Two movies, The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3D, and Happy Feet, will be shown. The event is free, and is sponsored by BF-LF, Inc. and the Kind World Foundation.

The program needs male and female mentors for youths in Vermillion. Interested adults may apply at www.bflfmentoring.org and click on the "Volunteer" button to fill out an application.
