City aldermen will meet on Oct. 1

The Vermillion City Council will hold its regular meeting at 7 p.m., Oct. 1, in the Al Neuharth Media Center on The University of South Dakota campus.

The council will hold a public hearing for a special daily malt beverage and wine license for the Vermillion Area Arts Council on or about Oct. 13, at 202 Washington Street.

The meeting's agenda also includes a continuation of action pertaining to the renewal of a package off sale malt beverage license for the Pressbox at 9 West National Street.

The city council will take action on the transfer of media equipment to The University of South Dakota.
