Elizabeth A. Boyd, Ph.D., an associate professor of clinical psychology at The University of South Dakota, will be installed as president of Division 45 of the American Psychological Association (APA) during a ceremony in San Francisco, CA, on Saturday, Aug. 18.
Boyd, who is also a member of USD's Disaster Mental Health Institute, has been a member of the USD faculty since 1992. She received her B.A. in psychology from the University of Houston in 1984 and earned both her M.A. in clinical psychology (1988) and her Ph.D. (1992) in clinical psychology from the University of Houston.
Boyd will be installed as president of Division 45 following an awards ceremony, which is co-sponsored by the APA and the American Psychological Foundation.
