Retired teachers meet Sept. 12

The Vermillion Southeast Retired Teachers unit met Wednesday, Sept. 12, at 11:30 a.m. at the Vermillion Public Library. Lunch was catered by the Cherry Street Grille and 23 members were present. Donna Schafer gave the table prayer.

Dr. Wayne Knutson gave a memorial service for the late Dr. William Farber. The group purchased a book, At Canaan's Edge, by Taylor Branch for the library in honor of Dr. Farber.
