Coach Jason Gault commented on the game, "Lennox was a great team today and I don't think we were mentally ready to play this ball game. However, I was very proud of the way the boys regrouped at half time and didn't just give up. It took a lot of heart to have the second half that they did."

Coach Joe Delvaux added that "our defense was decent with the exception of pass coverage. We are so close to being a good football team. We just need to minimize those big plays."
The freshman football team's next game is Thursday, Oct. 11 vs. Canton. Game time is 4:30 p.m. They finish their season up at Elk Point on Oct. 15.
