Johnson opposes Medicare cuts

The South Dakota Health Care Association (SDHCA) and American Health Care Association (AHCA) thanked U.S. Sen. Tim Johnson for his recent letter to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus highlighting the importance of opposing cuts to seniors' Medicare Part A nursing home benefit.

The senator points out that possible cuts "will undermine meaningful quality improvement efforts the skilled nursing community has engaged in and continues to pursue."
