Public broadcasting receives grant

The Board of Directors of the Mary Chilton DAR Foundation recently awarded grants in the amount of $27,729. One of the grant recipients is Friends of South Dakota Broadcasting for the one-hour television program titled "Our Statehouse – A Capitol Idea" showcasing the history of our capitol and capital city.

The Foundation was created by the Mary Chilton Chapter, Sioux Falls, of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, to support historic preservation, education and patriotism in the Sioux Falls community and the State of South Dakota.
