On Nov. 13, 22 seniors came out to enjoy 60 degree temperatures and battle a breezy afternoon wind. Four match play games were scheduled with only one team winning by a slight margin.
That team was Max Anderson, Jim Reed and Dick Gregory. All three other teams ended in ties and required sudden-death playoffs.
Ray Lynn made a 51-foot putt to win for his teammates of Dave Raabe and Tim O'Connor in the playoff.
Dick Kellogg had the closest chip to the hole to win the playoff for his teammates of Ken Beringer and Lloyd Helseth. In the final matched pairs, the team of Don Baer and Dave Zimmer pulled the win out after a tie match.
