The Bluffs Bulletin Board

On Nov. 6, weather was cold but 13 golfers came to challenge the low temperatures. Since the players were bundled in cold weather gear, it was somewhat difficult to perform as desired.

The group was divided into two match play contests. The winning team in each division was Dave Raabe, Dick Burbach and Bob Boone in the A category; while the team of Jack Doyle, Gene Iverson and David Helseth defeated their opponents in the B division.

Observers in the club house did question the sanity of these "polar bears."
