On Oct. 23, the seniors played a full scramble from the forward tees. The winning team was Jim Stewart, Mo Marcotte and Tim O'Connor with a 33. In second place at 35 were Dave Raabe, David Helseth and Ray Lynn. Taking third, recording a score of 36 were Al Clem, Lloyd Helseth and Berwyn Svoboda.
At fourth with the better 37 were Don Baer, Jack Doyle and Jim Grabowski. Settling for fifth with the other 37 were Dick Burbach, Elmer Mount and Guy Button.
Long birdie putts turned in for this session were as follows:
- 21-footer by Tim O'Connor at #11
- 40-footer by Dave Helseth at #12
- 36-footer by Don Baer at #14
- 30-footer by Jack Doyle at #13
- 18-footer by Guy Button at #17
Lloyd Helseth made a long par putt of 34 feet on #16. This week we gave a "loser's bracket" prize once again by selecting four holes at random and the worst score on those holes won a prize. That lucky team with a 40 was Bob Solomon, Maurice Erickson and Jim Reed.
The senior men will continue playing on Tuesday afternoons as long as weather permits.
