USD men's swimming and diving team drops dual to SDSU
The University of South Dakota men's swimming and diving team fell to 0-3 on the season after dropping a 147-113 dual decision to South Dakota State in Brookings.

USD had three individual or relay wins against SDSU, including David Lind (Senior; Kearney, NE), who won the 500 freestyle (5:13.48).

Justin O'Connor (Sophomore; Bloomington, MN) was second in the race (5:29.90).

Overall, USD had 13 individual or relays with top-three finishes in the meet with SDSU.

Freshman Ray Wieser III (Vacaville, CA) picked up a win in the 200 IM (1:34.96) while senior Josh Fleming (Lincoln, NE) was second (1:37.40).

The Coyotes also won the 200 freestyle relay in 1:32.06. The team included Lind, Nate West (Lincoln, NE, O'Connor and Mike Olson (;Lincoln, NE). USD will compete at the St. Cloud State Invite Nov. 3.
