Vermillion public schools to present holiday performances
The Vermillion public schools will present many opportunities for the enjoyment of the musical spirit of Christmas over the next several weeks. You are invited to attend the following concerts, which will be held in the Vermillion High School auditorium:
- Monday, Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. – VHS Holiday Concert.
- Tuesday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. – First and second grades.
- Monday, Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. – Seventh and eighth grades.
- Monday, Dec. 17 at 7 p.m. – Sixth grade.
- Thursday, Dec. 20 at 7:30 p.m. – Faculty Holiday Recital.
Raffle tickets for a handmade Tanager quilt – at $1 per ticket or six tickets for $5 – will be available at each of these concerts. Tickets will also be available at high school athletic events, the Vermillion Beauty Shop and Pressing Matters. The drawing will be held on Feb. 24, 2008, at the Evening of the Stars. Proceeds will be used by the Vermillion Music Boosters to support the Vermillion public schools' music programs.
