Volleyball team loses heartbreaker vs. EP/J
On Thursday, Oct. 25, Vermillion faced the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies in a volleyball combined match, with the varsity team losing 25-13, 25-22, 17-25, 19-25, 11-15.

Coach Lenni Billberg evaluated the night's play. "We got off to a great start, but couldn't maintain the our momentum. It was just one of those nights. The Huskies are a tough bunch."

Assistant coach Jamie Baedke said, "It was a tough way to end a very successful season. Watch out, 2008 teams!"
