The Yankton Women's and Children's Center will be offering Boy's Town "Common Sense Parenting" classes beginning Tuesday evenings, Jan. 8 through Feb. 12. The classes are from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Vermillion Middle School in the Home Ec. classroom at 422 Princeton.
A light meal will be provided from 6 to 6:30 p.m. Common Sense Parenting is a proven, step-by-step guide for raising responsible kids and building happy families. Common Sense Parenting is geared for parents with children ages 5 through 18. Everyone is welcome, but registration is required.
Classes are limited and filling up fast. Class completion certificates will be provided. Classes are free of charge and free baby-sitting will be provided for those who need it.
