Jeremy Scott, who represented the United States as a 2003 World Championships team member, clears the bar during the Derek Miles and Friends Pole Vault Competition held Saturday, Jan. 19, in the DakotaDome. Miles, a University of South Dakota graduate, and Brad Walker, an Aberdeen native who ranked number one in the world in 2007, tied for top honors in a 10-person field that included the last two Olympic gold medal winners, two other former Olympians and the U.S. record holder.
