The Coyote women's team of Megan Gordon (Jr., Grand Rapids, MN), Leita Rolfe (Sr., Newcastle, WY), Erin Wagoner (Jr., Newcastle, WY) and Stacy Bjorlie (Jr., Austin, MN) won and set both pool (meter) and school (meter) records with a clocking of 4:30.67. USD bettered the school's record of 4:32.36 (USD, 2007) and the pool record of 4:33.82 (Truman State, 2004).
Wagoner also set school (meters) and pool (meters) records in the 100 fly with a clocking of 1:04.80. Wagoner, who swam exhibition, broke the USD pool (meters) record of 1:05.56 set in 2004 by Rocha of Truman State. She also broke the school's (meters) record held by Abby Heinz in 2004.

Jill Smolczyk (Sr., Omaha, NE) broke her own school record (259.85 points, 2007) in winning the one-meter diving competition with 274.60 points. Smolczyk was a double winner by also capturing the three-meter diving competition with a score of 257.80 points. USD's Emilie Kluth (Sr., Columbus, NE) finished second in both diving competitions with scores of 259.40 on the one-meter board and 251.95 on the three-meter board.
Other USD winners included Mary Holman (Jr., Bloomington, MN), 1,500 freestyle, 18:28.41; Sara Holman (Jr., Bloomington, MN), 200 freestyle, 2:14.04; Jenny Kohlbrand (Sr., Newcastle, WY), 50 freestyle, 28.38; Meredith Howell (So., Lenexa, KS), 100 fly, 1:09.01; Emily Connelly (So., Lincoln, NE), 100 backstroke, 1:11.72; and Mary Klima (Jr., Leavenworth, KS), 400 freestyle, 4:47.12.
