Kindergarten round-up for all incoming kindergarten students will take place on Friday afternoon, March 14, from 1 to 3 p.m. Fun activities will be taking place.
Come meet Kathy Crowley, the school's kindergarten teacher. Kathy Crowley has been the kindergarten teacher for 11 years at St. Agnes School. She is co-author of a book, Play, Projects, and Preschool Standards: Nurturing Children's Sense of Wonder and Joy in Learning, published by Corwin Press.
It received the 2007 Association of Educational Publishers Distinguished Achieve- ment Award and Learning Magazine's 2008 Teachers' Choice Award. Kathy is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children and has served on the SDAEYC State Board for many years. She has presented at national, regional, and state conferences on topics related to early childhood education. In 2006, she received the SDAEYC state service award.

Developmentally appropriate activities are planned throughout the day in a child-centered approach to learning. Parents are invited to register their children for the 2008-2009 kindergarten class. The child must be 5 by Sept. 1. Please bring your child's birth certificate.
