VAST competes at Tri-State championships

The Vermillion Area Swim Team swam at the Tri-State Swim League Championship meet in Sioux Center, IA, Feb. 16. The team finished fourth out of eight teams.

The team completes its season by swimming at the Novice Championships in Yankton, Feb. 23-25 and at the state meet in Aberdeen, Feb. 29-March 2. The team will start practice for the season starting in April. Anyone interested in joining VAST may contact head coach Melanie Mahowald at 624-9361.
