Broc Gauer scored 24 points, pulled down five rebounds, made six assists and stole the ball eight times.

The Tanagers jumped ahead 14-6 after the opening period, led 40-13 at halftime, and then held a lead of 55-33 after the third quarter.
VHS improved its record to 7-7, while Beresford dropped to 2-12.
VHS made 6 of 18 three-point tries and hit 14 of 18 free throw tries. The Tanagers sank 24 of 45 from the field, while Beresford was 15 of 36 from the field. Beresford sank 2 of 19 three-pointers and made 7 of 10 free throw tries.
"Mikal Ustad helped us out with eight rebounds," coach Huska said. "Both Broc and Mikal rebounded well."
