He was born in Washington, DC, in a little white house, he used to say.
He was in the U.S. Navy stationed in Newport, RI on a destroyer. He was in the service for two years. He was a Vietnam veteran.

He was raised in Waycross, GA, and graduated from Ware County High School. He played the bass drum in band and won his letter.
He worked for his dad at Dunk's Radio & TV, Inc. in Waycross. He worked as a cook at the Westward Hilton in Anchorage, AK, and had various wonderful jobs.
He was a good man. He is survived by his wife, Carol. He is gone but not forgotten. He was adopted.
