Schaal honored for exemplary performance

Air Force Master Sgt. William B. Schaal has been named Group Team of the Month for December 2007, and Senior Noncommissioned Officer of the Month for January 2008.

Selection was based on the individual's exemplary duty performance, job knowledge, leadership qualities, significant self-improvement, specific achievements, notable accomplishments, and community service and support.

Schaal, a logistics and resources superintendent with 21 years of military service, is assigned to the 341st Security Forces Squadron, Malmstrom Air Force Base, Great Falls, MT.

He is the son of Jean Schaal of Vermillion.

The sergeant received an associate degree in 2003 from the Community College of the Air Force, Great Falls.
