Broc Gauer scored six points, made seven rebounds, and contributed with seven assists and three steals.
The Tanagers took the lead 24-8 after the first quarter, and margins of 12-8 and 24-16 in the second and third quarters boosted the lead to 60-32 going into the final period.

The Tanagers heated things up from three-point range, hitting 11 of 19 from long distance.
"I was pleased with everyone's effort tonight," said VHS coach Jason Huska. "We need to keep the momentum going."
VHS improved its record to 4-2, while Alcester-Hudson dropped to 2-16.
VHS connected on 10 of 14 free throw attempts. The Tanagers connected on 27 of 49 field goal attempts, while Alcester-Hudson was 16 of 50 from the field. The Cubs hit 6 of 9 free throw tries.
VHS held a 35-20 edge on the boards.
