"I thought our kids did some good things offensively," said VHS coach Jason Huska. "We took advantage of some mismatches and worked to get good shots. Our intensity on defense could have been better. We need to keep getting better as we approach districts."
VHS sank 5 of 12 three-point attempts and made 9 of 13 from the line. The Tanagers hit 22 of 40 field goal attempts, while Wagner was 19 of 41 from the field. Wagner made 3 of 12 three-pointers and made 3 of 7 free throw attempts.
