"West Central did a lot of things well and we just didn't have any answers for them," said VHS coach Jamie Parish. "We tried several different offenses and defenses and just couldn't find the right ideas and personnel to make things work."
The Tanagers fell behind 15-14 after the opening period, trailed 34-16 after the second quarter, and then trailed 47-23 after the third period.
