Free poetry contest to be held

A $1,000 grand prize is being offered in a religious poetry contest sponsored by Famous Poets. There will be a total of 50 prizes, totaling $5,000. The deadline for entering is May 10.

To enter, send one poem of 21 lines or less to Free Poetry Contest, 1626 N. Wilcox Ave., #126, Hollywood, CA 90028. Applicants can also enter at www.famouspoets. com. There is no cost to enter.

Be sure your name and address appears on the page with your poem. If you wish a winner's list, enclose a return envelope.
