This Saturday, students from USD will dance all day and night for a good cause – and attempt to set a record in the process.
As part of Dance Marathon, an annual 24-hour event that raises money for Children's Miracle Network, more than 100 students from USD will meet at 1:15 p.m. at Vermillion High School to learn and practice dance moves for Michael Jackson's "Thriller." Once the moves are perfected, the dance will be recorded to verify that a new record was set. The current record for "Thriller" is 78 dancers.
Last year, USD's Dance Marathon raised more than $38,000 for Children's Miracle Network.
