Hoffman, who was named to the third team, was one of 15 student-athletes honored by Division II sports information directors for outstanding play this season.
Hoffman, a senior from Mitchell, averaged 17.6 points and 3.7 rebounds per game for the third-ranked Coyotes who reached the Division II championship game for the first time in school history. Named MVP of both the North Central Conference and the NCC Tournament, Hoffman was one of 10 student-athletes named a WBCA/State Farm All-American March 24.
She was named to the Elite Eight All-Tournament team and also selected to the North Central Region and NCC All-Tournament teams.
An Academic All-NCC selection, Hoffman was also a second team ESPN The Magazine All-District honoree.
This season she led the Coyotes to a 33-2 record, including a 31-game winning streak. In addition, she was part of a senior class that compiled a school record 55-11 mark in the past two seasons.
Thanks to a school record 127 three-point field goals this season, Hoffman scored 615 points, which is third in USD single season history.
In her career, she recorded 198 three-point baskets at USD, the second most by any player in school history.
She finished first in the nation with 3.63 made 3-pointers per game. Hoffman concluded her career with 1,331 career points, including 955 as a member of the Coyotes.
