Van Den Hul received national music recognition Olivia Van Den Hul received national recognition from the Federation of Music Clubs when she earned an extra-large gold cup on March 15 for completing 12 consecutive years of superior ratings in piano at the Vermillion Junior Music Festival. Olivia will be graduating from Vermillion High School and plans to attend The University of South Dakota. She is the daughter of Richard and Kerri Van Den Hul. The award will be presented at the annual spring recital on May 13. Other students receiving recognition will be Emily and Julie Renner, medium gold cups and Joel and Abby Van Peursem, small gold cups. All are students of Beth Mitchell.
