Ladies Auxliary meets March 18 The regular meeting of the Ladies Auxiliary to Clay Post #3061 was held Tuesday evening, March 18 with President Delores Gregg presiding. Roll call of officers was taken and recorded. Chaplain Opal Smith offered the opening prayer. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Motion made and seconded to accept the treasurer��?s report as printed. Correspondence included General Orders #8, Connies Communique, year end report forms, note from Shirley Christensen regarding poppy displays for spring district meeting, thank you note from Shelley Aakre. Committee reports included funeral report, get well and sympathy cards mailed, bingo at nursing home, hospital equipment on loan, Road to Recovery, hospice, cribbage playing in nursing home, Civic Council and fund raiser for Senior Citizens. The charter was draped for Jessie Rasmussen who passed away March 15. Delegates and alternates were named for the spring meeting to be held at Alcester on April 27. Motion made and seconded to pay the invoices. The meeting adjourned to reopen April 15.
