Life will be Sweet on Cherr Street Construction Update Workers from D&G Concrete Construction, Inc. and other contractors completed the following work on the Cherry Street reconstruction project from April 28-May 2. â�?¢ Sanitary sewer main complete from Jefferson Street to Plum Street. â�?¢ Removals from Jefferson Street to 150 feet east of Plum Street complete. â�?¢ Qwest working on relocating phone lines, expect completion May 6. â�?¢ Removals, undercut and fill on turn lane Highway 19 South continuing. â�?¢ Storm sewer work from Jefferson Street to Plum Street. Work planned for May 5-May 9: â�?¢ Sanitary sewer services Jefferson Street to Plum Street. â�?¢ Continue fill on turn lane Highway 19 South. â�?¢ Water main and storm sewer from Jefferson Street to Norbeck Street. â�?¢ Removals from Norbeck Street to east project limit. Miscellaneous: â�?¢ Speed limit is 25 mph through the construction project. Speeding violations are and will continue to be issued during the construction season by the Vermillion Police Department. â�?¢ Do not add, remove or relocate barrels, barricades, signs, temporary business signs, etc. on the construction site. If concerns arise, please contact D&G Concrete Construction or the DOT for evaluation. â�?¢ Temporary driveways are being constructed.
